Bermúdez is a co-founder and lead designer of Studio ibid. She approaches image making through a combination of typography, illustration, object making, and photography. Her interest in materials and the physical interactions between them makes the computer the last thing she reaches for in her process. After graduating from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Ana María worked as a freelancer in Chicago and San Juan, PR. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Typographic Arts (2018 & 2019) and has been displayed at the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago.

Mia is a co-founder and lead designer at Studio ibid. They center their practice on typography, composition, and material. They are inspired by philosophy, nature, and humanity. After taking a course on philosophy & architecture, they became enamored by the grace and subtlety of design. Their newfound passion for design thinking fused with their obsession of printed material, and thus they found a home in graphic design. Prior to forming Studio ibid., Mia worked at a graphic design firm in Chicago, IL and as a freelancer. They hold a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
